C-Section Delivery scheduled for July 10th @ 7:30am

I had a doctors visit this last Wednesday and they scheduled the C-section delivery for Friday July 10th at 7:30am. We have a pre-op visit on Thursday at 2:00pm where they go over everything we need to do to get ready for the delivery. That means 2 weeks from today little baby Caleb will be here. That is totally crazy. I obviously know I am having another baby but I think it will be one of those things that hits me later.
This is an old picture from my C-section with Nathan, it was amazing how fast everything went except the recovery. I am looking forward to being able to hold and have another son. The doctor okeyd me traveling and thinks everything will be OK. I have another doctors appointment after I get back from camp on Monday. I will keep you posted as things keep progressing. Have a Great Day!

Down the Hall....Nathans play room

This is Nathans play room. All of his toys are in here downstairs and they slowly creep into the kitchen, living room and in all sorts of weird places. I caught him sitting in his tub full of blocks, what a cutie. There is a big bookshelf and all wood floors which makes it fun for all of Nathans toy cars. He also plays a lot with his Mc Donald's play cart. I just love listening to my kid play. Sometimes I will watch him play from a far and thank God for a healthy happy boy.

I have decided to go to summer camp with Matt and I am really looking forward to it. Life is too short to play it safe all the time. Free food, no cleaning, and Nathan will have a great time. It will be like our last little time together as a family before the baby comes. Please pray for Camp to go well, kids to be ministered to, and Nathan to sleep well through the night. Also that everything works smoothly for Matt as he is doing all the sound and using all of his equipment. There will be around 200 - 300 teenagers so it will make for some great stories. Thanks for your comments (Laura my faithful blogger reader). Have a Great Day!

Happy Fathers Day!

I have a great Dad! He has been such a great example of love and discipline. I have surely tested my Father growing up and he always had so much patience with me. Thanks Dad! I love you and am proud to call you my Father.

Matt has been a wonderful Father to Nathan, I couldn't ask for a better husband, partner and friend. I am truly blessed. Matt and my dad are wearing t-shirts from the NRA museum. They had a great time.
Most importantly I have a heavenly Father who loves me and sent His only begotten Son to die for me. I am nothing apart from Him. He is truly my everything.
I hope everyone is having a wonderful Fathers Day. Give you Dad a big hug if he is close enough.

SHOULD I STAY OR SHOULD I GO?

Matt just found out a few days ago that Nathan and I can come to the High School camp with him. He will be there all week doing sound. The dates of the camp are June 28th - July 3rd. That means free food, a huge pool, and one last somewhat vacation before the baby is born.
The camp is 3.5 hours away from Leesburg., and the hospital I was planning on delivering at. My due date is July 16th so it is pretty close. I was a week overdue with Nathan, but this is a whole new pregnancy. My friend offered to stay with me at the house during the week when Matt is gone so what do you think I should do? Be safe and stay? or take a chance and possibly have the baby in Pennsylvania?

Living Room # 1

Connected to the Kitchen with these cute shutter doors in one living room. It has a fireplace, wood floors and a nice open window that views the front yard. The couch is a sleeper couch and this is where my parents slept when they stayed the night. We don't really use this room alot but it leads to a hall that has a bathroom Nathans play room and our guest bedroom. Nathan brings out the toys here quite often and we use this couch as our "time out" couch. Overall I like this room.

Downstairs: The KITCHEN

We spend quite a bit of time in the Kitchen. This is where our breakfast nook is so we eat every meal here. We also have a formal Dining room with a cute China cabinet but we don't have a dinning room table so we eat all of our meals in the Kitchen. I threw in a picture of when my mom was here making curtains in the kitchen. We have a pretty large fridge with the freezer on the bottom (it's different). You can change the temperature of the fridge digitally and when you leave the door open or ajar, or a little toddler opens it, it has an alarm that goes off. The first time I heard the alarm go off I panicked and thought there was a fire in the house. Thankfully it was not a smoke alarm and just the fridge.

All of our appliances are electric, so I am still getting used to cooking that way. There is plenty of cabinet space and it also has a cute little pantry for all of our food. Not a ton of counter space and no dishwasher but it works well for what we need.

Outside of the House.

So I realized that I haven't really shown you many pictures of the house yet. I figured I would start outside and work my way inside this upcoming week. Take you on a little tour of where we spend most of our time. We found out that we have 3 fruit trees in out front yard. A cherry tree filled with cherry's and two apple trees one green and one red. We are looking forward to eating the fruit and making some yummy deserts from these trees. We also found wild strawberry's growing right in front of our front porch. Yum Yum.

I weeded the front porch planter a few weeks ago and I realized that I pulled up daisy and berry plants. Oops they looked like weeds to me. Hopefully they will grow back next spring. We are in the midst of so much beauty. We are grateful for Gods creation and all the blessings He has blessed us with. Don't know about you but I love being in nature somehow I feel so much closer to God. In the quietness, the wind, the still small voice and no distractions.
"Before the mountains were brought forth, Or ever You had formed the earth and the world, Even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God. " Psalm 90:2

The Neighborhood Dogs..

We have 2 neighborhood dogs Violet a black lab and Alley a pit bull. They come over quite often and are good sweet dogs. Nathan absolutely loves them. Violet loves to fetch so she fetches sticks, or balls in the yard and Nathan chases them. It is kind of nice to have them around for pets to play with and enjoy and not have to feed. They are around a year old and we caught Alley chewing on Matts shoe in the yard and getting into our trash.

Yesterday Nathan kept saying "Alley outside outside". He wanted to go outside and play with the dogs because they were on our lawn. I noticed that Alley was chewing on something so we went out to make sure that it wasn't anything important. As we checked it out I found the dog chewing on a deer leg. It was SO nasty! You could see the deer hoof and the dog was licking the meat off the bone. To make it worse Violet picked up the leg and was trying to get me to play fetch with it and her by chasing me with it. Can you see the image? Nathan was out there chasing the dogs, we called it quits and headed into the house for safety. It's all apart of the "Country Living Experience". See what some of you are missing out on.

`USE THE FORCE

"These are not the droids you are looking for."
