Calebs eats rice cereal
We started Caleb on rice cereal a week ago, he seemed to enjoy it. Very new thing for him, he only ate a little bit. He is already 5 months old. That's insane how time flies. The reason we started him so early was so Matt and I could go to his staff Christmas party and Caleb would have enough to tide him over until we returned home. I am strictly breastfeeding so I usually feed every 3 hours. It was a 4+ hour time span with drive time. My plan proved successful and we had a great time.
Finding Just the Right Christmas Tree
We went a few weeks ago and found the perfect tree. It was a pick and cut your own tree place. Was super cold, we all had a fun time. There is something fun and special about going as a family and picking just the right Christmas tree. Was a scottish pine tree paid $37. Not to bad, I even tipped the guy who cut it down. (The tip was next year bring gloves :) Hee Hee, have a great Day Chrismas is only 11 days away.

Thanksgiving 2009
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Our friends Chris and Ioana joined us from North Carolina for the weekend. We had lots of yummy food, and great time hanging out. Matt and Chris went shooting with Chris's gun and now he really wants one. Ioana loved Caleb and is itching for a baby, I think that biological clock is ticking. We have so much to be thankful for: God sending His only Son for our sins, family, friends, health, cute kiddos, food enough to go around, Matt's job, and spiritual stretching and growth.

What Virginians do in the fall..
I have to personally apologize for ever complaining when I had to rake leaves growing up in our front yard in California. We had maybe one large tree. There are SO many leaves I do not know what to do with them all. I tried raking and bagging some but yeah right that would take all year. Nathan had a FUN time running through the large piles of leaves I raked up. We spent at least a good hour or two jumping running and throwing leafs. We are slowly starting to get our grass back after tarping, mowing, raking and moving the leafs to the forest. Did I mention raking? We need a blower for sure.

Happy Halloween!
What a night! We went to the Hallelujah party at church and it was super cool. They had pony rides, a Ferris wheel, tea cups, games, hay rides, food , on and on. It was very cool and all free. I love our home church. It was so nice to spend Halloween as a family. Nathan was a farmer and Matt built him a cardboard John Deere tractor and Caleb came as a sack of potatoes. I think we were the only ones there with handmade costumes. By the end of the night Caleb had had it. He was crying and not a happy camper, that first picture explains it all. I think it was too much stimulation. Nathan on the other hand had a great time. He kept saying he wanted to go back to the circus. The whole ride home he said I want to go back,I want to go back, back mommy, lets go back now whining and crying as we drove further away. I was busy with the baby, feeding, changing, comforting, while daddy and Nathan enjoyed the rides. Mommy got good sleep that night, whew I needed it.

Caleb 3 months plus
So I missed my 3 month post. Here are some catch up photos of Caleb. He is growing up so fast, He is talking, lifting up his head and loves being in the saucer. He is a content kid, Doesn't cry much unless there is a reason and tolerates quite a bit. What a cutie, we love our two boys! God has blessed our family and I am learning to embrace and enjoy every moment of parenthood.
