We stumbled across a small town 4th of July celebration in Warrenton on our way to the railroad museum Sat morning. It was your typical small town parade with children on decked out bicycles, a firetruck that kids can climb on, Uncle Sam, and even a goat on a leash. It was really neat to experience the festivities unlike anything in California, and did I mention there was free cake?
That night we went to Middleburg for their 4th of July firework show and got front row parking, and front row seating. Nathan was able to play in their bounce house, park, sand box, and waited in line to get his face painted (which never happened). It was nice to deal with a few hundred people, verses the normal 2,000+. Overall we had a nice relaxing day together as a family that seem to go by slowly.
Camp was great, more to come on that. I had a doctors visit today and everything is on schedule. They think the baby is going to be around 7 pounds, he has not dropped and he had a quick heart beat. The doctor said he is going to be a happy baby because of his quick heart beat similar to Nathan. The countdown is on, Matts parents should be here tomorrow night and few days later here comes Buffington # 4.
