Quick Catch up Photos

Here are a few pics of the kids. The are getting SO big. Lord Willing I can come back next week and post more.

Hair Cut!

Finally got my hair cut! It was buggin me, I always had it back in a pony. The lady talked me into to doing my eyebrows. Hurt a bit,but I liked it. Got to love my husband in the back ground hee hee. Apparently he was excited I got a hair cut too.:)

Lost and Found!

I am at the library. Finally some time away to blog. Sorry its been so long. Winter is finally over and spring has arrived. Thank the Lord!
So I totally lost my wedding ring outside somewhere in our front yard before the big snow storm. SUCH a bummer! After all the snow fell I pretty much gave up hope, yet somehow I didn't feel as if it was really gone. Two months passed no luck and Matt took me to the Valentines dinner at church. He got up on the mic and told everyone how I lost my ring (very out if character for my matt) and said he had something for me. I thought to myself I hope he didn't buy me a new ring we so cannot afford that. He found my ring while shoveling snow in the driveway. TOTAL MIRACLE! He took a break between shovels and look down at the ground. Thought to himself, we have to get rid of those weeds. That's weird that looks like a circle.Bends down checks it out and it was my ring. Thank you Lord!

SNOW is in the air!

It is supposed to snow anywhere from 5 inches to two feet tommorow. Have you ever been outside when the snow is falling? There is something so peaceful about the snow. Its whiteness covers everything and there is so much beauty that surrounds and covers everything. It is so awesome that God takes our sin that is red as scarlet and makes it white as snow. What a great picture of His love towards us. We have got tons of firewood and all I can say is burn baby burn. Lets keep that house heated. I can't lie, although its freezing I feel like a kid again when we go out and play in the snow. I can step right out of my door and into the snow, how cool is that? I don't even have to drive to the mountains, fun is just waiting at my door step.

The family is doing well. We are all getting over and are in the middle of colds, yuck. God is good and we are enjoying spending time together as a family and grateful for all the Lord has blessed us with.

I'm Back - My California Trip

Sorry I have been gone so long. We no longer get Internet at the house and I went to California for 10 days after Christmas. I am actually at the Library as we speak getting some blog and pictures out to you. My wonderful husband is watching the kiddos so I can get a little much needed alone time.

We had a great time in California. It was so nice to see everyone. I went to the desert over the new year weekend. All of my family went. What a great trip we had riding the motorcycles, riding in the jeep, and going on a treasure hunt with papa of course. I miss my family, it was SO nice having everyone together. The only thing missing was Matt.

Some highlights: Paul brought his Christmas tree and we threw it in the fire, WOW did that thing go. Going to Glen Ivy with my buddy Kelly. How nice it was to be pampered. Seeing all of the cousins playing together. Making bread and cooking for the camping trip with my Mom and Sisters.

I was able to meet up with my good friends Kelly, and Carolyn and see my grandma. Most of my friends and relatives have not seen the new baby so it was a big treat for everyone. As always time flies when you are having fun and I had to head home with 2 boys alone on a plane trip. The Lord got us home, but it was a long flight. Well worth the great time that I had.

5 months - woo-hoo

Caleb is already 5 months old. What a sweatheart he is, he has such a calm tempermment and is very content and easy going. What a privildge to spend five wonderful months with this little guy.

Calebs eats rice cereal

We started Caleb on rice cereal a week ago, he seemed to enjoy it. Very new thing for him, he only ate a little bit. He is already 5 months old. That's insane how time flies. The reason we started him so early was so Matt and I could go to his staff Christmas party and Caleb would have enough to tide him over until we returned home. I am strictly breastfeeding so I usually feed every 3 hours. It was a 4+ hour time span with drive time. My plan proved successful and we had a great time.
